First Booth Exhibition in the U.S.A. Strong impressions of R/RW Related Products！
RWPPI made its first booth exhibition in the U.S.A. (Las Vegas, Nevada) at the WCES (Winter Consumer Electronics Show) Convention Center from January 8th through 11th of 2002. WECS is well known as the largest American technology tradeshow, having roughly 150,000 visitors on a regular yearly basis from around the world.
The variety of DVD-R/RW Recordable・Playable related products exhibited at the booth by the 17 participating companies such as DVD Recorders, DVD Players, DVD-R and DVD-RW Disc media products, Writing and Playback software for Personal Computers, R/RW Drives installed in Personal Computers, and other variety of products, have really attracted the attention of the visitors, leaving strong and positive impressions.
Through direct communication with the visitors explaining the goals of RWPPI, together with special demonstrations of DVD-R/RW characteristics and questionnaire survey, efforts were made in trying to establish a better understanding. During the demonstration show performance, video recordings of the visitors were made and burned onto the DVD discs with the DVD recorder on the spot, as a souvenir for them to take home that was very well received. Through such exhibition and demonstrations to the many visitors that came to the booth, we have successfully established further understanding of the superior qualities that DVD-R/RW may provide.
