Utilizes a Hard Coat Developed In-House that is Scratch, Dust and Soil Resistant
- Scratch Resistant: The potential for scratching on DVDs that do not have a hard coat is 100-fold more (in-house comparisons.)
- Dust Resistant: High anti-static effect, and restrains the build-up of static electricity.
- Soil Resistant: The lubricity of the surface has been optimized to produce a disc that is resistant to fingerprints and other oil-based soiling, and that can be wiped clean easily if it does become soiled.
The First 4~ Recording Capable DVD-RW Discs with our In-House Hard Coat Specifications (VD-W120HM, VD-W120HM5, VD-W120MH10)
- DVD recorders that enable 4~ recording speeds onto DVD-RW discs enable high-speed dubbing (moving) within minimal time frames for optimal operability. High-speed dubbing (moving) for one discfs worth of data at a speed of 4~ (single-side capacity of approximately 4.7 gigabytes) is completed in approximately 15 minutes. (High-speed dubbing (moving) at a speed of 2~ requires approximately 30 minutes.)
Two-sided Recording Models that Require Minimal Space and Actualizes Easy Sorting (VD-W240HN, VD-W240HN5)
- Records approximately 120 minutes of data in the standard mode for each recording surface for a total of approximately 240 minutes on a single disc, and it requires minimal space and actualizes easy sorting. The two-sided recording model has the same high levels of quality as single-sided recording model, and as it uses high-density bonding technology, it enables high-quality recording and playback on each side. The surfaces on both sides are hard-coat treated to provide carefree usage owing to its scratch, dust and soil-resistance.
