On May 9, RWPPI held a press conference at the Palace Hotel in Otemachi, Tokyo, and about 170 members from the press attended it. Seven of the member companies--Hitachi Maxell Ltd., Kenwood Corporation, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Pioneer Corporation, Sharp Corporation, Sony Corporation and TDK Corpotaion--expressed their hopes and views on RWPPI.
