RWPPI held its second meeting attended by participants from 33 companies RWPPI held its second meeting on August 29. There were participants from 33 companies at the meeting--an increase of six co mpanies since the 1st meeting. Following the secretariat's proposal for the establishment of subcommittees on hardware and software, the progress and current status were reported on the following subjects:

1. Indication of a disc's recording time.
2. Marketing mark.
3. Compensating system for personal-use recordings.
4. Joint display at various events.
